Kabuto & Yoroi (Samurai warrior helmet and armor)
May 5th is Children's day. It used to be called Tango no sekku and known as Boy's day. In Japan, families with a boy/boys celebrate this day by displaying the Kabuto/Yoroi of the doll of Kintaro, a folk hero, and putting up the Koinobori, carp-shaped streamers, outdoors.
The Kabuto and Yoroi are symbols of a strong and healthy boy.
